    If you are looking for him under Hasting High School I can tell you why you can’t find him. He plays at Taylor High School in Alief.

    That and the fact the Alief schools are really a screwed up mess and don’t produce near the teams they should for the talent they have on those three campuses.

    Liked the film, liked the measurables, and liked the fact that Torrodney was academic all-district (although when I was growing up in Houston a long time ago Alief wasn’t known as an academic powerhouse). It will be interesting to learn more as we progress. Maybe Tipsy can add him to the radar if this guy is legit. Also, the Cosm is the best -loved the live interview.

    One thing that’s becoming increasingly clear: Mack is no longer driving the recruiting train. What we’re doing now looks more like SEC or Oregon or USC. I’m thrilled. Mack will never know how he could’ve done all those years with GD if he had this style of recruiting on offense.

    Lockbox, Prevot has tweeted that Texas offered him. JD2 conflicts notwithstanding, I think he’s ours once we get him to campus. I damned sure hope so. I see a lot of Brian Orakpo, but with a touch more pure athleticism.

    And Robinson is indeed a Horn! This kid had an amazing offer list and was expected to take a while to commit to any school, much less us. Great win for the staff!

    Saw in a Rivals feature the other day by Brian Perroni that Prevot doesn’t just run track. He runs the 200. At 6’4″, 220 lbs. That is freakish.

    Isn’t it amazing what a coaching staff can find when they actually go out, kick over the proverbial rocks, and talk with the high school coaches at the high schools.

    Texas took way too long to get away from the model of targeting camp kids and players whose film was being sent to them.
